Ingredients:
wheat flour - 2 cups
salt one tsp
oil -one tbsp
water - one cup
Method:
Warm the water to luke warm and add all the ingredients and knead the dough well. Store in airtight container for 30 minutes. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and make balls.
Take a plate of dry wheat flour for coating. Dip the balls in the dry flour and roll into flat round shaped roti.
Place a griddle on the stove. when the griddle is hot, place the roti and let it cook for one minute
turn to other side and let it sit for a minute.
Use a tong to lift the roti carefully with the right hand while lifting the griddle on the left hand and place the roti on the fire. Let the roti rise and puff up. Immediately turn to the other side and remove from fire. Make sure not to burn the roti.
Spread some ghee or oil on the roti when out of the fire.
If you dont have a light weight griddle toast the roti with oil on both sides.
Mix all the ingredients.
